Wonder what the magnificent trees do for us?
Do you think we need them? I love trees.
I settle in the umbrage of your leaves
Majestic giant of the forest
My tears fuel for ancient roots
Falling for the loss of fellow timber
Home, shade, food and oxygen
Your might is magical
Yet your sawdust is still shed
Until the world is barren and bare
Ground blown away by winds unchecked
All arid desert burning life
No air to breath
