I lie here on the ground
Basking in the ultraviolet light
Set to the perfect temperature
My back against the turf
No sneeze inducing grass
Nor cancer causing sun
I ask
No, beg
That in our growth
And rapid development
We remember to retain
To care for and nurture
An authentic earth
Beautiful Mother Nature
Of our birth right
