Astronomical
Like the Universe before us
Greater than we can fathom
Like the prices of things
Bigger is better they say
Not when it’s the cost
Of everything that we eat
Other than the junk remnants
That they can’t even feed
To the pigs or the cows
That suddenly becomes
Acceptable
For human consumption
Until they find out
Years down the line
The damage it causes
To the organs inside
Unfortunately
It’s not the love or the care
For our fellow people
But rather the greed
That has become way too
Astronomical
