From the cacophony
That rages in my head
Task lists
Memories
Reminders
Unbidden thoughts
Relationship autopsies
Conversation analysis
These things that fire
Constantly
Sparking
Catching flame
Running away
To places
The dark
And the light
I give great gratitude
For the silent place
I find
In my closed eyed
Quiet time
Searching for my soul
In its happy space
