Not Asking

I don’t call it
I don’t shout it
I probably don’t mention it at all
Asking for help
Is something I don’t generally do
I’ll suck it up and stew
So when you feel a dearth of warmth
It might be that I’ve sweated it all out
Running after you
To cook, to clean and do the laundry
Though anger boils inside
You’ll find me very cold
For I never learnt the art
Of simply talking it out
Again
And again
And again
