Causing Ripples

I do not worship at the alter
Of the gods and goddesses
Of fame and fortune of this world
I do not welcome the demands
Of those well-known people
Looking down on me from superiority
I admire the men and women
Treating the cleaner and president
With equal respect and humanity
For we all breathe air, all bleed red
All impact the state of our society
Our actions are ripples in this pond
