Sank into the giving softness of my verdant lawn
Graced by the richness of nature’s vibrant hues
Arms stretched at my sides and palms down
I dropped a little deeper into this carpeted bed
Basked in warm kisses of sunshine rays
Easing the aches and pains of life just a little
Sucked in clean, fresh fuel for my lungs
Black, smoky shadows seeped through my back
Into the soil of Mother Gaia’s bountiful bosom
Grounded by her offering of this safe space
Enveloped in the purity of earth, fire, water and air
All that exists on her organic surface and within
To nourish and strengthen my struggling soul
Seeing pictures in the white puffy clouds
Floating in the ocean blue ceiling
My anguish and worry transmuted by Mother Nature
Soaked in her beauty and brilliance
I am renewed
