There was no sunrise this morning
No blue sky or bright yellow sun
The grey and black torment above
Reflecting a hopeless, unhappy heart
For life is difficult and uncertain
Challenging in so many different ways
But like these clouds of doom and thunder
Your troubles will be moving on
Bid them adieu and thanks for the rain
Nourishment and strength for the soul
To bask in the light and enjoy the warmth
Don’t continue to follow the storm
