Inspire

Your prompt for JusJoJan 2019, January 3rd, is your blog. Why did you start blogging? How did you come up with your theme, if you have one? How has it changed your life? Tell us about your blog in your jot! Enjoy!

I love writing and a blog was a way to share it. I have changed themes a few times and plan to again to keep things interesting. I pick ones that make navigation easy and the site interesting – our eyes need a feast of colour and content. I want people to leave my page feeling better and lighter. It must add to their lives. My page has become more about making other people feel better, because in so doing I feel great. I post mostly poetry, but occasionally I share my short stories and writing achievements, and I aim to use my blog to include the books I’m busy writing.

A recent achievement. Thank you to all who regularly come and read my musings, I hope you will stay, and those who stumble upon my space, I hope you will return.

For my voice to be heard
Beyond the wall and the bird
Releasing my thoughts to the air
Unburdening sadness that I dare
Growing and changing the course
Led now by a much different force
Human nature still wants a like
But resonating chords to strike
Inspiration and light to be seen
Life with something to mean
Hand stretching out to touch
Even if only one soul or such
Aiming to widen the reach
Cold and broken hearts to breach
Brighten hope with possibility
Happiness illuminated with attainability
To share much love to all
This is for what They call
