From mythology and magic
People in search of a lamp
Polished and shone to summon
The genie that lives inside
Wishes and dreams of reality
That someone may make right
All that is wrong in their lives
With money or fame or such
But the sorcery lies inside
The body of the seekers
The ability to grant happiness
Within each one of us
A gift to give to ourselves
Should we choose to
The how of the matter
Is where we all get stuck
Do what pleases you
To your highest good be true
Surround yourself with love
Remove that which darkens
Your natural vibrant light
Love all that is you
