Physical Form

In the dark macerating folds of my mind
My reflection rots in putrid decomposition
A rotund discarded lump of fleshy lard
A distasteful and unpalatable sight of existence
The looking glass, a scornful judge
Drowning in the abundant excess of my being
With an incomprehensible lack of will
And a bounty of excuses
Here I lie
An abhorred creature to be given a wide berth
But still to some, an amazing creation of nature
More than simply a misshapen physical form
