I roll your phonetics around my mouth
Play with the sounds that you make
Twist my tongue over you, through you
Let you whisper gently past my kissables
Enamoured with the melody of you
Shaping my lips to accommodate
Your complexities and intricacies
Language, I love you

Daily Prompt: Enamored
A minor variation on your theme:
Love language
I roll your loveables around my mouth
Loving the sounds that you make
Twist my tongue over you, around you
Let you slide gently past my kissables
Enamoured with the melody of you
Shaping my lips to accommodate
Your complexities and intricacies
Love language, I love you

Yes, a few words can change the whole meaning

Debbie, Do you mean your original was not intended to be full of allusions? š

Actually it wasn’t. Believe it or not. I love the feel of talking a new language and how I have to wrap my tongue around it. Strange perhaps, but it is so. :0)

I apologise for misinterpreting your poem. I thought your unintentional innuendo was very clever. Still a great poem š

Thanks and no problem. I like people to take away from my poetry whatever works for them. You’ve got me smiling.

loving the sounds that you attain
bend my glossa over you, around you
Let you sliding board gently preceding(a) my kissables
Enamoured with the melody of you

I think its awesome that individual phonemes create the sounds of words and that graphemes create the spelling of words in order for you to put together that awesome poem.
