Flying Free

A dandelion exposed to the wind
Ungrounded nor anchored to anything
Left to dangle in the breeze
Fall apart at the slightest pressure
Gentle and soft, delicate and sensitive
In a world filled with power and might
Impressions of a weak and feeble light
Rather a bright and buoyant soul
Floating in magic and fantasy
On a slight or a strong breath
Free to so many wondrous possibilities

  1. Not sure what happened there, but I was trying to reply to a comment on this poem and it disappeared. Not sure if the user deleted it or if I did something weird. Was just going to say thank you.
