The Children

An apprentice in the hands of my children
They are wise beyond their years
Innocence and wonder at everything
Where I have lost amazement at simple things
Opportunity and possibility at each turn
Obstacles and problems all that I can see
May I learn their ways before they are tainted
May they take me over to their side of good
Let them teach me before I derail them.
