Built with bricks of encouragement and support
Bound by the mortar of tenderness
Doors open to communication
Ceilings raised together to both soar
Lifting each other when the other falls
Cleaning the windows for a clearer future
Chips and cracks filled and smoothed, together
Knocked down and rebuilt once or twice
Never allowed to break all the way down
Grateful for that which we have constructed
In these last 17 years of happiness and sadness
Eager in anticipation of our continued building
